Remember these?

I was cleaning out an old bag of lures and found them.
I remember fishing these in a small pond at lunch. Used to have a blast with them. I don’t even know if they’re still in production but, wow, they were fun.

Apparently they are still quite popular. Checked several online tackle shops and they are low in stock or out of stock till Feb.

Never fished them but might have to add to my "give it a try" list

I like them a lot. Used with my 8' ML mod Avid spinning rod 8#nanofil a 3/8oz RS slings quite far. Use 1/2oz  with casting.

I have 4 in my spinnerbait box that I have never thrown. The double hook kept me from using them. I should see if I can rig a single hook on them and give them a toss or use them on the river where the double hook won’t be a problem.

I have a lot of them . My favorite lure for fishing heavy current . They also work well on deep points , hopping like a worm . There is one problem .. I have lost two big hybrids because the hook came off during the fight . A split ring or wire around the hook shank is needed .

Use a small zip tie around the double hook shank solves the hook coming off.

They're great for busting white bass. I still have one that I keep just for that reason.
