Well the wifey approved $2500 for me to upgrade the electronics on my boat.. I currently run a Motorguide trolling motor with a Garmin Striker 7dv on the bow and a Garmin Echomap Chirp 73sv on the console

Shall I buy an Ultrex?

Motorguide Tour Pro?

Bundle Livescope with a UHD 93sv?

Trolling motor, brand is up to you.

Is there a issue with your current TM.? I'm a Ultrex fan. But that's just my personal choice.

I've been around the world with bathymetry and currently employ Navionics (The lesser yuk).

Navionics compatibility being imperative, I'm currently running a Lowrance Elite Ti

(but I think the world of Garmin hardware). With respect to electric motors

(trolling motors as it were) I'm unapologetically in the Minn Kota camp (Terrova right now) ?

trolling motor is where I would spend the money.

I prefer minn kota, so I would buy an Ultrex.

I’ve caught more fish bc of my trolling motor. I have the Ulterra, best thing I’ve ever purchased.  I know everyone will say get the Ultrex but I’ve been on several boats with the Ultrex and I prefer having the Ulterra. Auto stow and deploy plus you can raise the motor height in the water with a remote when it gets shallow or rocky. Ultrex folks have to yank the entire motor out quickly by hand to adjust while I can do that just as fast from anywhere in the boat with the touch of a button. I don’t know why everyone says Ultrex. Get the 36v if you can. I’ve had the 24v, the battery lasts longer and you’ll get about 20% more speed.
