Word Filter addition

Featured Replies

Can we get the word “best” added to that word filter forum thingy so it comes out as ****, or “a good,” or other similar display? There are like 5 or 6 current threads on various topics all asking for or stating the “best” whatever...when no such thing exists, at least that we all can agree on - except maybe those “best” knot threads. Those are always short and unanimous.

Thanks for your consideration :Victory:

Agreed ~

And if you're bored, perhaps consider inserting that nasty little four letter word in to the search box above.

Even if one 'limits' the requested results to Content title only

the results are staggering !

Oh My.

I'm probably guilty of this deal myself however.

Best is kinda like normal ?

Back in the 60s there was a saying, what's normal and who gets to decide what it is!

I feel the same way about "best"

The problem main is that what is **** for one person isn't for another. Trying a objective qualification for something that is subjective for each individual runs the risk of going down the rabbit hole and not coming up again.

When I was in grade school, there was this big fat kid named Richard Best who was a bully.  He was a ****, so I like never having to read his name.

I am in favor of such a change, Richard **** had it coming.

I think we all know what the problem is. We're just trying to come up with a way to contain the damage!  ?      jj

Oh my goodness, did you grow up in maryville, Tennessee???

”dad gum your hide, Richie Best” was a phrase well known among the entire town. He’s a pot stirrer to say the least!!!

No, Fullerton, California.

This Richard **** was a 270lb blob of terror at St. Phillips elementary school.  He was so fat that one time another kid shot him in the stomach with a BB gun and it never made it past the blubber.  He was literally able to squeeze the BB out, & then beat the bejesus out of the other kid.

I ran into a couple of bullies in my freshman year.  They liked to dump kids in the big 55gal open trash cans.  They pounced on me one day.  I kicked one purely by accident during the struggle and he dropped my feet as he folded up next to his pockets.  Never was noticed by them again.

29 years later I take my 1954 pick up in for seat upholstery and lo and behold there's Mr. Pockets.  I related the story to him and we just laughed about it. And then he gave me a huge discount.  We ended up doing a bit of business over the years. People change.
