Anyone ever tried this trick with a swivel?

This is probably something that has been around a long time but I just have missed it. Anyone tried this? Recommend or not a big help? As someone that plans on getting into soft plastics more this year if this is a help I want to get in the habit of doing it the best way.

I have never tried that, but when rigging Senkos on an EWG I will sometimes bury the eye into the worm and secure it by pushing a small bit of 80lb mono through the eye and cutting it flush with the plastic.

I've never seen that but I think I'll give it a try.

That's been around for a while. They even sell a couple of dedicated clips. I don't use them often, but for some plastics they are almost necessary. I bend one eye of the swivel to make it lay flat on the bait.

This I one of those things Ive seen many times over and think 'i gotta try this' and then i forget about I when I'm on the water.

I've never seen this. And one more reason I love this place.

Y'all are bad influences...Tackle Warehouse sending you guys any kickbacks? They should be lol...off I go to our favorite etailer

Owner twist lock hooks.... problem solved lol

Been doing that for my weightless Super Flukes for many many years. Adds just the perfect amount of weight to the nose and lets me burn that fluke to the boat.

I use it as more of a technique to add a small amount of weight at the nose. Do the same for a texas rigged weightless stick bait. Plays doube duty as a hook keeper.

Co-angled with Shaw Grigsby about 20 years ago and picked it up from him.

I've used the barrel swivel until I found the Parasite Clip. I use these mostly on 10" worms ans the standard size Zoom Brush Hog.
