Been a great tournament so far. Felt sorry for Otter yesterday. Knew he probably wasn't going to make the cut, but lost that 25G in the last period.

Yea that has to sting. It also has to suck for KVD who was sitting there in contention, and then gets dropped three spots in a matter of like 3 minutes. 

I haven't watched any of this event so far until about 20 min ago. I thought this was a BPT event, but it looks as though they are fishing out of the MLF Cup boats. Did they ever mention this, or am I seeing things wrong?

This is the Heavy Hitters event. Only half the field of anglers fish this event. Kind of an answer to "We are not a Dinkfest"

I know, but why are they all in the same boat that they use in the Cup events? I guess I thought this was a BPT event (where they use their own boat).

They use MLF boats with all MLF sponsors for this event. They will go back to their own boats etc for the next event. 

 

I think this allows for a full run of sponsor ads for MLF to run all week.

I like MLF/BPT, but sometimes I don't even think they know what is going on from one event to the next. LOL

I don’t even know what’s going on during the events, much less at the next one 

I really enjoy watching and keeping up with all the major and minor tours and I can appreciate both 5 fish and weigh/release, BUT I will admit I can get turned around easily with the different twists and turns of MLF.

The only thing I do not like about MLF is that the MLF guys can go down in Series, but the lower series guys like from the Toyota or wherever cannot just come up in to MLF. I think they had a 3 year deal for people to be locked in to MLF without entry fees etc. Not very many new faces in MLF besides Cox, and a few others that came in. 

dang, ish monroe finally got a hook into the big ol' bass on a bed he's been trying to catch for two days and she spit the hook. that sucks

He might as well just keep after her and hope he gets her in the boat and she is the biggest.

i think that was his mindset. he know's he's not going to win the tournament but might as well go for the $100k fish

He’s a lot more patient than I am!

supposed to be going up to Shearon Harris on Tuesday with a friend of mine. it will be my first time on that lake and i can’t wait.

Not a dig on you, but there are PLENTY of guys on forums always talking about how they could compete with those guys.
