Does this model still have the audible drag? Checked it a while ago and it didn't mentioned anything about an exciting drag if I remember right.

No it does not just a clicking drag star.

The knobs are very comfortable in my hands. Still needs to be torn down and re-lubed along with replacing the worm gear bushing with a bearing.

I did a tear down of the 70A and 2 of the 12's over winter,  the E-clip on the worm gear was a pain to deal with on those reels.  I am still not sure why they use a bushing instead of bearing but those reels are as smooth as silk.

I'm thinking simply to stay within a materials price target and this is a place where a neglected bearing will take away from that smoothness. A bush will always be smooth. Pretty sure someone like @Maico1 isn't going to neglect it.

Oh that's a shame. Loved the 2019 version because it did and I enjoy hearing bass rip out drag.
