blanked Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 Any use a 1/2 oz or 3/4 oz soft swimbait as there go to rig? 30 to 40 feet or however deep you fish for summer lakes Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted April 29, 2021 Global Moderator Posted April 29, 2021 Ive never done much , or any damage that way. What kind of lake we talking? I only fish 30-40 feet in winter with small stuff. Quote
InfantryMP Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 I do not see why this would not work out. I actually was going to do some of that offshore in my last derby. The water roughness stopped that, but I had a swimbait rigged up I with a 3/4oz jig head so I could get down to the 25-30 range for smallmouth. I believe in the heat of the summer it could work out well if you can find em out deep. Quote
Super User webertime Posted May 20, 2021 Super User Posted May 20, 2021 3/4oz Damiki underspin with your 3.8-4.8 swimbait of choice. Quote
Dye99 Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 I use a dark sleeper for deep pools in my North Idaho lakes. Works really well. 3/4 ounce. Quote
