Featured Replies

Woah Son!

I love Roland

First cast 3 pounder

Next cast  4-5

I wanna fish where ever he is

A big fan! His videos are entertaining. And he loves dropping okeechobee reference in almost every one of his videos ?

That looks like a stocked : "Bill Dance Pond" (lol !)

I’m surprised he was using 20lb mono. That is heavier than what i have for a senko rod (12-14). Fishing looks fun though.

You can use whatever you want in a stocked, private farm pond hahaha.

Once you put a weight on a Senko, you can pretty much use any line you want.  I have met Roland a few times, even stayed at his ex-wife’s resort on Okeechobee ?but he still makes me chuckle because he is the closest thing to a carnival barker you will ever find.? Even in this vid he says he saw that fish with his polarized glasses when he had them hanging on his neck.  ?  Gotta love him though, he has forgot more about fishing than I will ever know.

Lol I noticed the same thing!

What is the importance of keeping the rod high?

Or the reason why I should say.

I assumed it was to feel the strike better.
