We are headed to our timeshare next week in upstate NY and need some advice. There are two nice size ponds on the property loaded with bass this I know because we caught quite a few last year. We were catching most of them on senkos. What else do you guys recommend that I could use that can be effective? I stocked up on a good bit of tackle over the winter that I could use thanks in advance!

A bladed jig or spinnerbait. 

Rage Structure Bug, Jika rig

Depending on the cover and bottom contour a texas rig is always a good choice to start out with, for reaction baits I would recommend a lipless crankbait or maybe a spinnerbait/chatterbait if the pond is open water and not weedy. 

I was thinking of picking up a  tokyo rig do you prefer the jika rig instead?

I have a rat l trap in chrome blue and a few red eye shads that I will try thanks!

My first choices would be a  small floating minnow like an original Rapala and a frog colored popper. If it's too weedy for trebles then a compact hollow body frog.

All the same stuff you use in a lake should work there. And lots of topwaters! I find it much easier to get bites on top in small, shallow bodies of water. I even throw the big baits at them.

It's funny you mentioned this I have a silver and a gold one both original floating rapalas I will try both thanks!

I do have some black and blue fleck fat ika's that I will toss thanks!

I like using spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. But, don't leave out the worm! T-rig, wacky etc. Swimming a jig can be very effective also.

Top water - If there's not a ton of muck, I like throwing a popper. Slow, with a loud bubble noise. I have better luck with ones that have a feather on the back hook. Lots of cheese on the water, then I've been liking the Scum Frog lately.
 

Mid depth -  XZone Swammer in 309 color on a bluegill swimjig. To be very specific.

Mid-Bottom - Rage Cut R Worm in Blue Craw to be specific.

Bottom - I like big ribbon tail worms, Rage Anaconda's, Ol Monsters etc. Super light worm weight or weightless.

And yeah, if you're not getting bit, wacky rig a Senko, and it'll get you bit.

Senko, Rage Menace, and chatterbait seem to be what I get bit on the most. I'd say just throw what you're confident in and adjust from there.
