YUM Bad Mamma, where art thou??

Featured Replies

I can't find these anywhere. Some sites have them listed but only a few colors, but even those are out of stock. Other sites just say 'unavailable'. And some sites don't even list them anymore.

I'd be surprised if they discontinued them. Anyone know where I can find some? Looking for the 4.25". Black and blue particularly.

Peraventure..

About 1.5-2 years ago outlet bait was clearing these out in a 20 for $10 sale

That seemed a pretty good sign they were probably discontinued. I bought  20 packs,10 gp. And 10 gp/purple flake.

They went on sale even cheaper to 0.25 per pack. I bought a couple hundred packs as I love the bait! Thought they were going out of stock.

I did recently receive and email advertisement from YUM advertising the Bad Mamma so I don’t think they are out of production.

YUM Bad Mamma Fishing Lures Lot Of 2 Blue Red Unused Texas Rig Jig Trailer C Pic

$7.86

Thanks. Those are the smaller version tho.

The global supply and logistics chain got one hell of a disruption all over the world with the beer bug and various responses to it, we will probably need a year or two before the flow of goods catches back up and smooths back out to a somewhat normal level, and that obviously applies only to the companies that survived all the upheaval, so lots of things may be gone permanently on account of that.

YUM doesn't even have them on their website, hasn't for awhile now. One of my favorite pitching plastics. I bought a bunch when they went on clearance, but I burned through them pretty fast. They just had an ad on their Facebook page for them and I commented asking about them, but never got a response.

I'd be shocked if they just stopped making them, since they are quite popular. You'll have to let me know if they respond to you. I have 2 bags left but they won't last long.

Woooow. That's surprising.  ?

Thanks for the info.

Don't know if this helps any, but keep an eye out for Walmart YUM bins.  I have seen them in there but it is always impossible to know what they will have.  You have to get lucky to find a specific bait you really want.

I've seen them there, but they're always the smaller ones.

First I've heard of this site.  Looks like 3.75" and only a few colors?

I contacted YUM directed and all they had was the 3.75" in 4 colors. He dropped the price down to like $.50 a pack though, and that's how I got 100 packs of them even though they're not my preferred size.

Give the Big Bite YoMama a try. Available in 100 CT bulk bags. I go through a pile of them.

I use a bunch of those also, but the Bad Mamma was a much thicker bodied bait. Made it a really good punching bait because there was a lot of body to hide a big hook in a compact offering.

10-4. That's what I like about the Sweet Craw  from Ultra Molds. Meaty body that holds a flippin hook really well. My used YoMamas get melted down and turned into sweet craws.
