It's not nearly that big of a difference.

  • Not a fan of braid. Don’t like tying knots with it, don’t want to hassle with having to tie it to mono before putting it on my reel, don’t want to cut my fingers on it. It’s just not my thing.

I did. 30' or so of line out, pulled hard on both, Advance had maybe 2" less stretch. Fished them both side by side. No meaningful difference in stretch, abrasion resistance, or handling. Advance is great mono, but it's not the game changer Suffix advertising claims that it is IMO.

Sufix Siege is the best mono i have ever used. I use 12 on baitcasting, 10 on spinning and its awesome. handles easily on spinning and baitcasting gear.

Maxima UG is a strong abrasion resistant high memory Copolymer. I use and have suggested 5 kB UG for finesse spinning, .008D.

Low memory small diameter mono is Sunline Super Natural.

For Mono small diameter line in higher lbs test is Sunline Defier Armillo 11 lb (.011D) to 25 lb .016D).

Always compare lb test to diameter.
