Thinking of spooling a couple of spinning reels with 30# test with 6# diameter. Any comments or recommendations?

IMHO its garbage. Get Sufix 832.

As mentioned above I've only heard negative things about it. I'd go power pro or sufix 832.

Another vote for 832.

Just to help out - Fleet Farm currently has 832 on sale for $12.99 a spool - green and yellow, most line tests

Agree with the above and 30# would feel like rope to me on a spinning reel

Highest I use on spinning is 20#...and that's on a 3000

Thanks for all the response. I have decided to go with Suffix 832 20lb. test. Should have about a 6lb. diameter. Am I close?

This version works for stacking lines of different diameter

I think that's fine.
