worm box

Featured Replies

i am after a plastic worm box to keep my oem bags of plastics, i was looking at the Plano 371610, but after reading reviews, most are saying the hinges are weak, any thoughts on a more durable one, i want to keep the tray box type like 2 3/4 ect thick.

I tried the 3716-10 - hated it...couldn't fit enough bags into it.

Right now I have a bunch of the 3607-10 (open compartment) - I can fit more in that 3607 than I could in the 3716

With the boat re-work, I'm looking at upgrading to the 3707-10.

I have 2 of the Plano Edge plastic boxes that work great and happen to fit just perfectly in my boat storage.

I know you asked for a box, but have you considered speedbags?

This! And right now TW has them on sale if you choose the logo version.

I have a few of those in my cart right now.  Seems like the way to go.  Any downsides I might be not thinking of?

You may not get as much capacity as advertised.  That's about all I can think of.

after looking at the other options, i still need to stay with the low profile type boxes to fit in my backpack that holds (4) 3700 boxes, so not it brings me to the next question, is bags, are the plano stowaway 3700 size bags i see at TW the way to go or are there there better options in bags, i really like the bag that came with my Strike King Coffee tubes

was looking about the bags, after searching i did see there are some companies offering storage bags, from not seeing them, not sure of the material, don't want zip lock material bags too soft, as i mentioned above i like the strike king bag that the coffee tubes came in, what would that type of material be used on that bag.  is the plano 3700 bag the best, any other places who have a good quality bag. any comments on these https://barlowstackle.com/Laminated-Worm-Bags-P3705/

are they the same as the oem strike king bag

On their website choose the 25 Days of Savings and go to DAY 2. The bags are the fourth item from the left. There are 2 sizes. These are designed for the plastics to stand up in a file folder style.

I typically use a stowaway Plano 3700 take out all the dividers, then I pick out 4 of each worm and store them like that, keep the rest in the bag. I'll spray my worms or soft plastics with Pam so they don't lose there stretch. Old hack my uncle taught me.

I have been using this guy for a few years now and it has worked out great.  Only down side is I have more plastic than I can fit in the box so I also have a Plano Deep Box just for Senkos.

If you just need a place to store the bags, these boxes are pretty economical at $1.78 each.  They can fit about 25 bags of 5" senkos if stored the long way or 15-20 bags of longer worms stored the other way.  They stack and you can add painter's tape labels that last a long time.
