Digitaka has some things in stock from SLP+

 

They have the carbon fiber handle for example, and a few cork knob options.   

 

It's not easy to dress up these reels, and it's expensive.   But it's incredibly cool, and you only live once

except we were talking about handle Length, and Digitaka only shows 80 mm carbon handle in stock, which is Short. 

Hedgehog has it in longer lengths, but you still have to buy knobs.

killer, as much I love Digitaka, it's a real pain starting over each time when browsing things.    

 

That handle for the SV TW, power cork knobs for TW HD, and maybe cork standard knobs for the SV TW.

 

Like to upgrade the star drag on the SV TW being "plastic" unlike the TW HD 

@bulldog1935 @AlabamaSpothunterDigitaka has RCS carbon fiber handles in stock in 80, 95 and 100mm. Their website is just a bit spread out and sometimes hard to find random things.

 

 

Loved mine till it broke.  Had to send it back to Japan to get it fixed so it ran me another 75 more than it should.  That said its still one of my favorite reels.

What broke?

One of the plastic screw holders that held the sideplate onto the reel.  To be fair I regularly used it to for bigger fish like clown knife fish and peacocks.  Both fight substantially harder than largies pound for pound.  

I've got a Zillion SV TW that I love.  What does the "21" mean?  Mine isn't a "21".

With JDM reels at least, the 21 refers to the year.   So it's the 2021 model

Beat me to it…haha.  The prior Zillion SV was released in 2016 I believe.  So when people say 21 Zillion, that means they are referring to the recent model.

Only JDM refers to the model years. 

Daiwa US simply uses the model name for the current model they sell. 

Shimano US adds a model tag, and if you really want to get confused, USM Shimano Stradic 1000HG-FL in the same JDM reel is '19 Stradic C2000SHG.

 

They sell 5 times as many different reel models in Japan as get imported to USM.
