Strike King Tour Grade Monofilament

I'm not sure how long this line has been available, but I just recently saw it.                                     I noticed the diameter is slightly larger than Trilene XL or Stren.                                                        If you've tried this line, what is your opinion?

Here's my guess at what's going on.  Strike King was purchased by Rather Outdoors.  Now they are trying to cash in on the brand recognition by introducing different products under the Strike King brand.  Usually when this happens,  they're simply buying products that are developed and manufactured by another company and selling them under their well known brand.  I prefer not to support this practice.

i'd rather just stick with seaguar, sunline, p-line, sufix, and powerpro when it comes to line.

Kinda like BPS, Academy, or any othe house brand.

The worse thing today is not being able to get a sample of a line. This was common some years back. At that time you were able to talk to someone and they seemed happy to help you.

They'd send you a 110 yd. pony and you could at least experiment.

No experience with the mono but I bought a spool of the braid back in 2020 or early 21. Only complaint is the price, about $12 more than a spool of J-Braid. Still going strong just a little faded. I fish a bunch of SK products from the Ocho to red eye shads and could care less who owns it or where it's made.
