I'll give it a try....

Spinnerbait -

1oz MB tequila baccarac

5/8oz DC735

3/8-1/2oz PA 173MH & DC734

Buzzbait - ?

Carolina rig (3/4 - 1.25 oz barrel weight) - Expride 7'7"H

Texas rig - PA611M+, PA172H, Conquest 904 & DRX755 deep water

Squarebill - DC 734, PA173MH, Expride 7'7"H

Frog (personal favorite is original Jason Christie Cara frog rod) - Expride 7'3"XH, DC 735

Jerkbait - PA611M+, Avid 7ML spinning

Flipping/pitching - 3/8 and under; PA611M+, PA172H

1/2 - 1oz - Steez 172 power pitch, Expride 7'3XH, MB Tequila Baccarac

Punching - 1oz + - MB Tequila Baccarac

A rig - Expride 7'7"H, DRX 755

Swimbait - almost all of them, decision based on weight, hook diameter, open hook/weedless, and open water or target casting by length.  I want one more Fast long rod (7'6 - 7'9) that can handle 2oz weedless and could also punch.

Shallow crank - DC706cb, DC734

Med crank -?

Deep crank - light pull Expride 7'7"H, hard pull MB Onager

Weightless worm/senko - Conquest 904

Bladed jig (really like veritas 7’ mh and Tharp honey badger 7’4) - PA172H, PA173MH, DC735

Topwater - DC734, PA173MH

I'll offer that the rod I got for spinnerbaiting must be the best darn buzzbait rod on the planet. I have an excellent hookup percentage with buzzbaits. iRod Genesis III Stone Cold Swim and Vibrating Jig Rod. I don't feel confident enough in my overall experience with rods to offer much more, but the Swim and Vibrating Jig Rod is a workhorse. I don't throw only one technique with it.

Edit: Any yes, it's a great spinnerbait rod also

Is this a thinly veiled market survey for some new brand of rods? Something smells fishy here...

I dunno - but I don't own enough rods to designate each to it's own technique. Every rig I have does double/triple/quadruple duty.

I really hope so, bait monkey wants a big red color scheme for my next gear purchases...

No hidden agenda from me.  Just wanted to know what rod everyone liked best for each technique.  I don’t have a rod dedicated to each specific technique but I do own a ton of rods, half or more of which serve multi purpose from time to time.  I like to know the hidden gems out there that shine for specific techniques

When I got back into fishing all my rods were purchased with versatility in mind.  It wasn't until I bought my first crankbait rod that I had a technique specific rod.  I keep an OG Tatula 7'4" HF in Florida for frogs.  I purchased a 6' MH Berkley Lightning a few years ago for my oldest grandson to learn how to use a baitcast reel.  He had zero interest.  It is now my dedicated short range spinnerbait rod.

I have a custom 7’2” Custom Lamiglas Infinity 864 that the seller said was as sensitive as a GLX so I use it for jigs....which means it doesn't see a lot of action as I don't fish a jig very often.  My bad!

I also own too many rods.  Finding which technique would work best for each rod would be a chore.  Guess I'll continue to fish whatever on each one.

How about dropshot rod, you gotta have that.???

I carry at least 20 setups in my boat.  Not one of them is as specific as your list.  Except for my Arig setups all of them see at least double duty.  Even my Neds double for sliders and bucktail jigs.
