I’m going over a friends Lews Tournament MB and I noticed the metal drag washer with the ears has bent ears. I’m sure this can’t be correct and just curious what caused this

Chances that part was bent symmetrically like that are very small.

I'll bet that is not bent it was made that way on purpose. How about it @DVT.

That washer has been manufactured that way.

The guys is just asking a question and gets made fun of.    I thought the purpose of these forums was to share knowledge and experience with people, not make them feel bad for asking questions.

Yes, and he got his answer from other "anglers" before the Hi-jinx began. This is a fishing forum, not medical school.

Since the OP hasn't replied in this post maybe he didn't find the humor in the hijinx.

That bent washer is probably for factory workers or machines - easier to line up the drag stacks on an assembly line. Just saying.

Those washers come like that. The reason is anyones guess.  Reinstall as you found them, tabs down.
