The E6X reminds me of the Taurus that passed for a Jaguar a while back. The IMX is a good stick and a big upgrade, enjoy.

Nice!  ?  Wonder how my PE Special, Coastal SV or Patriarch would look on it.  I can give you my address so you could send the rod to me to check out the combos.  :rofl_red:

see the 2015 model E6X rods were hit and miss. some were good and some were not. the 903 MBR E6X that had was ok but it wasn't very crisp at all, a bit too soft for a MH rod IMO.

I have a 2018 model E6X spinning rod and its night and day compared to the 2015 E6X rod I have. they made them much better when the redesigned them. Now they are called the GCX but they use the same rod blank.

One thing I did notice about my new rod is that the hook keeper is mounted on the top of the rod which I don't think i have seen before. is this a problem? I don't think the line can make contact at that point but I'm not sure???

Beautiful!!!  What are techniques are you planning on using with it?

pretty much an all purpose bass and light duty pike rod. I throw a lot of spinner baits and big inline spinners like the #5 Mepps Black Fury. I also throw cranks sometimes too
