Cheap Neko weights

I'm not wasting cash on tungsten Neko weights . Just take an old crappie jig head that you have laying around  , clip the barb , bend the wire and insert it into the worm .

While I'm at it , I dont have Drop Shot weights either . A bullet weight , bobber stop and overhand knot works .

Good tips!

Go to a hardware store and buy a few sizes of screws. They work great, and screw right in.

You probably have some laying around anyway.

A minimalist at heart if I can do it lighter, cheaper, or faster I almost always will, but at about $3-$4 for a 10 pack tungsten nail weights are totally worth it to me for the stealthiness and low profile they offer. A dab of super glue they ain’t going anywhere unless the whole worm gets thrown. Still got a few left from a 10 pack I bought almost 2 years ago.

lol. Dipsey sinkers. When we were “dropshotting” half a century ago before someone “invented” the dropshot!
