I use a 15lb Boga Grip I bought for ocean use some years back. Supposed to be very accurate, except it measures in .25 lb increments. Very fast and easy to use. If I were to weigh A-Jay's fish, it'd be a 7lb'er on my scale as opposed to his 6.94. I like my reading better.

 

I only weigh the big honkers, hoping for 5 lb and up, which is pretty rare around these parts.

I replaced the hook with a heavy steel clamp.  My fish consistently weigh a pound more now.

@throttleplate it was a joke…I undersold the weight increase.  I caught a 15” fish today that weighed a little over 5lbs.

Thats my kind of scale ?

At some point, I will get a Boga grip but I got one of these last year and it seems to work very good. I tested it out on a few weights and it was spot on.

I have a few scales. My current favorite is a Berkley scale with a lip gripper instead of a hook.

 

Its water resistant. IMO a must in a scale designed to weigh fish.

I havent used it yet except for around the house but the Piscifun seems to be a more expesive scale than the Rapala , for the same price .
