Caught last night by my cousin. Previous junior angler striper record was 18lbs. This one weighed over 30lbs and 37".

Fish was brought to the official weigh station today. I'm hearing he may have set 2 records.

My second cousin. His grandfather is(was) my uncle(moms brother). My uncle moved from Chicago to Austin in the late 70's. Kids name is Giuseppe. Probably the only person named Giuseppe in the entire state of Texas. LOL 

His mother Gia is my first cousin and his father William Robert(yes, Billy Bob) is Texan.

He is now in the record books for striped bass. Rod and reel, junior anglers division. 

21.55lbs and 37.25 inches.

That is both the lake and state record for the junior angler division
