I knew there was a pile of pallets in an area and have searched for it off and on for two seasons . Its an elec motor only lake , so searching for it is really time consuming and I rather be fishing than zigzagging back and forth . Yesterday  I finally ran over it . My vintage Ealge Fishmark 320 showed it perfectly at 15 foot deep . So I toss a buoy out and fish it for 30 minuted without a strike . What a let down . I was thinking a lunker bass would hit at any time . Oh well , I have it triangulated now and maybe catch  some fish from it this fall .

I caught plenty of fish shallow , they havent been biting good in deeper water this year .

This is going to work out well for you.  I found, by accident, an old picnic table that some kids threw in the lake during an ultra-dry year when the water was down. Same deal, small electric lake and this one has huge bass.  I marked it on my bow unit and I fished it every time I was anywhere near it for two years with nothing.  I've never seen anyone else near it.  I kept at it every season and this year I have already caught three good fish off of it.  Why now?  Why not last year or year before?  Only the bass know.

Your luck is better than mine.

Ran over a large brush pile during the winter in 25ft of water, probably 200 yards offshore.

I chose not to mark it at the time thinking ehhh , this lake is only 50 acres.

I've made several attempts, even several hours and can't locate it.

Won't make that mistake again.

I have been searching for this , I recieved a tip about it last year , at the end of my fishing trips . Yesterday I decided to look for it first thing and was ready to  give up . I was actually heading away but got the urge for a couple of more passes .

A couple lakes I fish have pallet stacks in them. They never seem to hold fish.

Wow , it seems like they would be great cover . These are on a featureless  flat  devoid of breaks or cover.
