So I haven't done this very often but when I have its usually been a success. Not sure why I don't do it more. For those using craws or creatures as a finesse buzzbait\toad what baits do you like? Weight size or weightless?

Zoom's Ultravibe Speed Worm

Zoom's Ultravibe Speed Craw

Zoom's Mag II

Rage Tail's Craw

Rage Tail's Lobster

Rage tail craw, lobster, and space monkey for me

Four inch curly tailed power worm with a 1/16 oz bullet weight, texaposed with EWG hook.

I had been working the weedless worm around various rocks doing the cast and drag. I caught a few bass that way in the triple digit heat. I was then inspired to swim that bait by another large rock just to see what would happen. It was swimming just under the surface, enough to create a visible wake. That is when a bass darted out from the adjacent rock and rolled on it. A spectacular sight! Better yet my geriatric reflexes are optimally tuned to simply wait for the load on the line before responding. Fantastic when it call comes together. Cheers!

I used to swim a culprit worm on top a lot. The curly tale left a perfect wake. I got to say though, I haven't done it in years. Thanks for the reminder. I'll have to try it again.

Zoom UV speed worm

Zoom UV speed craw

yum dingers ( believe it ! )

Big bite craws

Zoom horny toads( hook up rate sucks)

culprit and mr twister worms.

Rage tail cut-rs.

All T-rigged , some with no weight, some with a little…

I've had good luck with Zoom Z-craw, Rage Structure Bug, Zoom Horny Toad, and Zoom Lizards.

Use to fish lizards like this all the time. Yum baits actually had an "Air Lizard" that would float.
