Ramp Drop Off - Ideas

Featured Replies

Most of the ramps I use have it clearly marked where the ramp ends on the docks.  This won't help if there's a hole in the concrete.

A month of so ago some people with a pontoon boat had back their trailer off the end of the ramp.   They were towing with a 2wd Tacoma.   They couldn't budge it.  I hooked my truck to their Tacoma and was able to pull it all out.  (unloaded trailer)  The end of the ramp was clearly marked on the dock.  They had backed in way too far.

I’d sure like to see you do this with a fully loaded bass boat

Most of our waters have small ramps.

I’ve fished with @Fishing Rhino for a number of years and that’s how he loads/unloads his Nitro.

I prefer not using this ramp, but it puts you in a good zone where most people won’t fish. A lot of times the water is up in the parking lot and swirling by 5 mph so it gets washed away frequently A0241-FD7-5264-4541-A598-A37-BAA19-B424.Drama Club No GIF by Nickelodeon
