Heddon One Knocker Top Water ?

I'm finally tempted to try the semi - famous Heddon One Knocker walking bait ... I'd like to know your thoughts on this top water lure , favorite colors - and when you choose the One Knocker versus the Super Spook or Zara Spook ?

I've got a bone colored one I've used for a while. I use it along with standard walking baits. I haven't noticed if it's better or worse than my regular spooks. Both work well

Agree

I bought a couple with different bottom colors just because, but keep going back to the regular size Spook.

It may work better at different times, but in the conditions I look for to throw a top water stick bait the Spook almost always was the better choice.

If all the sizes of spook came in silent, I'd fish that, one knocker next, and rattler last, won't make a difference most times, but when it does, it really does...

I have a few. I honestly don't know when one is better than the other. They get bit.

I’ve got a One Knocker in bone color, that’s been a good producer for me on both species.  I’ve actually never tried a silent spook - I’d think that would be just as good or better on a calm day and/or in very clear water.  But that’s just me guessing.

I don’t have any top water Heddon’s , one knockers. To tell the truth, I didn’t know they made them.
I have some lipless cranks that are one knockers, really can’t tell the difference.
