For those of you that have a winter or off season do you have any plans to do boat up grades/changes? I generally do not put the boat away till freeze up. I would like to do some better storage in general on my boat to reduce clutter. No major upgrades or changes for me. I am holding off anything major till I get a new boat.

What kind of boat will determine what you can do with it easily and inexpensively.

 

Last winter - this was my project.

I've got minor upgrades for the kayak.  Some drainage in the cup holders and rod holders for one.  maybe some slight organization changes.  I really want to try livescope as I think it would help in a few places, but for $2k upgrade and having a second head unit (or get rid of my helix which I love) its not an easy or quick decision.  I'd also like to get out one more time now that I've filled my deer tags, but the water temp is mid 40's and the air isn't much better.  And we're due rain and snow this week so chances are slim.

Canoes are ripe for upgrading - this is what I fished out of before getting the F-9 and modifying it.

My Z20 is being upgraded at the Nitro factory.  It had gel coat blisters which are being covered by warranty.  It has been gone for six weeks.

typically this is my time to go through the bilge and motor and really give it a good cleaning. Vacuum/shampoo the carpets and replace anything needing replacement. 

 

Nothing freezes here so I really have no off season but around the holidays we travel alot so i dont get to go out often, this fills my time.
