What’s your leader length? 

With a well tied fg knot, I’ve been fine with anywhere between 12” and 15’ on a shimano reel. With the T-wing, I prefer to not reel in my knot.

Barely under 6'. It sets just outside the reel when casting, and just outside the rod tip when pitching.

Around 30-100cm, in accordance with the rod size ant fish targeted.

Unless I’m fishing wood cover it’s tied direct. 

Usually about 5’ when I first tie it. I’ll let it get down to 3’ or so before I change it out. 

Exactly 4 slightly loose wing spans.

Same here - and since laydowns on most of our lakes are removed quickly, I rarely have a leader tied on for pitching.
