Black vs Green No Fade Braid for flipping

I used to color the first six feet black but that's over with now. It's my first year with Viscious no fade braid so I'll let you know. I predict no difference .

Makes no difference imo.

I have both colors in hercules no fade, and have used both with no discernable difference.

That's what you think which is really, really absurd.  Shocking in fact.  Can't believe you even typed that it's so absurd.

...but I agree.  No difference.  Unless one is easier for you to see the bite on.

Sounds like moss green. I can’t hardly line watch the black at all.

I don't think the fish care. Faded green doesn't matter either, if anything it's less visible, and blends in with the environment better than new.

I've been flipping since the 80s and have not found any difference in the color of the line I use.   I never use a leader when flipping.  I like braid for it's strength and lack of stretch.  What I don't like is it's rough texture which tends to affect the fall of the bait.  My best overall flipping line is green 25 pound Big Game mono.  Experiment and see what works for you.
