Star Link satellites

Has anyone ever seen them? I heard they would be visible in my area tonight. My son and I stood out on the front porch looking for them. We about gave up due to it being partly cloudy tonight when he saw them. I’d guess there were 50 or so in a line scooting across the sky! They weren’t very bright due to the clouds but we saw them. They’re supposed to go be visible tomorrow night as well.

We just saw one a month ago in obx. We were coming back from a beach fire and saw it. Didn’t know about them but my brother in law did. Pretty cool.

If you lookup find starlink, you can type in your location and get information regarding the best times to see the satellites.

Looks like this. Photo by someone else.

Saw them for the first time here last weekend. We were at our year end baseball team party, sitting around the fire in the evening and saw a whole “train” of them go right over us in the clear night sky. Was pretty interesting to see. We have a pretty much completely open sky at my house to see them, but I just haven’t been out after dark much to look. Couple more months and we’ll have nothing but dark ( at least it seems that way ?), so we might get more chances to see them.
