GMC offers a 2 inch factory lift which I've had on both AT4's now.

I'm a fan of the AT4 option.  It's enough of a lift to look cool and function doing anything you "should" be doing with your truck.   However, it's not so much suspension geometry and safety is compromised.   Extended warranty companies(Carshield, The Warranty Group, ect) won't sell an extended warranty on a vehicle with an aftermarket lift.  They'll void the warranty if a lift kit is installed on a vehicle they sold a warranty for.   

 

What I'm saying is, the factory lift is the way to go.
