Just to keep you updated, We file for the permit AGAIN, We were force to start from scratch because our last project engeenier decided to reduce the pond to half acre (originally 0.92 acre), We have no idea why he did that , But we did get new design and now it is 0.88acre and depth from 12' now is 15' in deepest part.image.jpeg.82193562ee2d40fedca384609bbbdb6e.jpeg

How did ya get rid of them? What kind of soil do you have? Here in Fl it’s all sand, where I live. Are hauling off the dirt from the pond or stock piling it?

@GRiverWe have Clay and sand and that's very good for us(at least what they said), Also we are not going to haul anything out. We have 5acre of land that we planing to scatter soils around the property, Actually going to flat the front area of land to do fruit trees. I believe our job will start after digging the pond :).

I postpone everything to after the pond finished (she have quiet list of structures and constructions that had to be done). For the start we need a barn style garage for boat and RV and big trucks with high ceiling and big doors and etc.... I think it will make me a lifetime to do it all haha.

Hey guys, 7 months later, and an update for you. Found a very nice contractor. We made a connection once we met. He is a 27-year-old Marin and retired. We have our permits, and now we need to go to the county with the contractor and engineer and have a meeting before we start. I'll upload the final plan after a few corrections here for you to see. Basically, we have 6 months to finish the pond by law and have it ready before the rain. Now I am thinking of starting DIY structures for the fish and studying what fish besides bass I am going to stock and how many.
