Swindle Determined To Not Let FFS Take The F-U-N Out Of Fishing

It’s had plenty of time already

You're kidding yourself. Live scope will have the same effect over time as massively increasing fishing pressure. It subjects large populations of offshore bass to anglers. Before forward facing, open water was largely a sanctuary. Now it's a shooting gallery. This will not end well.

That’s your tale, I’m sitting on mine. Buck Perry trolled up a bunch of fish out of that sanctuary a long time ago, and I do it too with an anchor and triangulation. They swim around and eat fish out there

Have you seen him bow hunting goats???

He didn't really "hunt" a domestic goat, did he?  You can walk up to them and feed one out of your hand lol

@TnRiver46 I watched that. I always liked Steve. He just seems... happy all the time. That was a great discussion. Between that podcast and the Bass after dark with Scott Martin and Fred Roumbanis, changed my mind a bit about FFS.

I think we a Bass Resource should stop these endless FFS discussions and start a thread called "Things we have learned from FFS"

For instance, KVD was on the Bilge and one of his comments was "If I had known about all the followers I had over the years, I might not have moved from a lot of those spots. Instead changed baits, color, ect."

Don't know if that really helps all of us that are still fishing without FFS, but it is interesting. I would read that thread with great interest.

Steve Kennedy on the bilge podcast today with some truth bombs

I really enjoyed that episode.  He’s a very likable guy and he definitely shared some great insights on the current issues that have everyone all upset.

Funny you’d say that, I often fish differently because of FFS even though I don’t have it. I never knew fish roamed that much, swam that fast, and followed so often. Just from watching “these guys staring at a screen.” It can be quite beneficial to not get angry at the tech and pay attention to how pros fish,  it has led to many more catches for me.

the thing I’ve really employed is to quit dragging my bait on the bottom all the time and it has definitely caught many fish that I was normally fishing beneath
