The country of origin sticker is in the pics.  Thailand for this model.  I have 2 of the shallow spool alphas, absolute best bang for the buck reel that I own.

The Zillion sits a bit higher, but not much. The Zillion is a tad lighter, but not much. I honestly don't notice much difference between the two when casting them and I have put quite a bit of work on them recently.
