@T-Billy might be short drive but I think you’re wired a little different, and not in a bad way at all. Everything I see from you tells me that you are a fisherman in the most ‘hunter’ way possible. Always out there in the elements, always on the hunt. Day or night. Nothing fancy - just grit.

Thanks. Very much so. Always on the hunt for a BIG bite.

If someone else ever donned a fur hat, I'd dismiss them as a pretender. You don't get to wear the fur hat unless you're out there, day and night, wrasslin' muskies and everything else.

Lol. When you spend your fall days fishing in freezing temps, fighting an iced up reel, possibly getting rained or snowed on all day. Then and only then have you earned your fur hat. 😉

@TnRiver46: Troublemaker. However, given how gray that day was and how often you fish, you too might be entitled to wear fur. It's Tim's call, of course.

I've launched on 29 degree days quite recently and walked across icy fields to do so. I've fished the Mississippi in Minnesota in January from a little boat. Still, I haven't earned the fur because I've witnessed the conditions you fish and what you catch.

@ol'crickety, that hat  was a gag gift an in law gave everyone, probably 10 dollars faux from a truck stop hahah. Little did they know I would actually wear it . That was the day after Halloween and it started off the morning snowing

You wear it well my friend, and that's a dandy brown bass. BTW, I'm also a fan of @A-Jay's red plaid hat. Perhaps BR needs a hat thread?

Nah, you need to get ya fur hat. That hat of mine is super warm and comfy. I can't wear it above mid 40's. Cooks my little pea brain above that.
