  • I've known Bill for going on 20 years now, and he's one of the most likeable, nicest guys on the trail.  He's similar to Randy Howell.  Just an all-around, easy-going, very humble guy.

  • Couldn't of happened to a nicer man!

  • Dollar Bill wins by 3 ounces!! Awesome job Hoosier!

Way to go Fothergill.  You finished 102.

No other way to sugarcoat it.  Epic failure in an elite debut.

He did well at Okeechobee last year. Might have a good shot for a bounce back. I happened to see his weigh in on Friday. Looked like a whipped puppy.

Is there some drama with this guy or something?

Not really. I think he just has some really high expectations after college and the tear he was on qualifying last year.

Bill on Bass after Dark swim jig episode was super fantastic - a great dude - happy with how this one turned out for sure!

Kinda cool at the weigh in when Bill held up the small bass, with the big one, cuz the small one was just as important!

1 last thing to say, I’m in walleye country, and I catch some slack from some of my buddies that think bass are so easy to catch. We just saw some of the best bass guys in the country, on a great location, and they did not all ( including the winner) catch a limit every day.
it’s not that easy 😎

Walleye seem easier to catch. Plus those guys use live bait.  As if they can talk lol.

Take away a walleye anglers ability to use live bait or troll and most would take a skunking nearly every time. Virtually every walleye angler I know has to rely on at least one of those two methods to be successful.

Bass fishing in cold water is tough. Anyone who does it should know it’s not easy. They are a warm water species.
