Just read that actor Gene Hackman and his wife have both passed away. He got his start in acting in 1964, after serving in the US Marine Corps. I always thought he was good, as I'm sure many others do. He was 95 years old. RIP Gene Hackman.

I'm not one to speculate.  I'll leave it up to the experts to provide answers.  I'm saddened by the news and hope they didn't suffer.

Reports are coming in that sound pretty awful with them having passed quite some time ago. Allegedly no gas leaks/CO poisoning, he had obvious signs of a fall, and she had pills all around her. Lots of speculation on what happened and it all makes a sad day even worse. RIP to a legend.

@NorcalBassin Sorry for the speculation. I was hoping they went peacefully.  Terrible news.

He was one of the greats.  RIP.

Imagine that at one time, Dustin Hoffman slept on Gene Hackman’s floor for a few weeks, after which Hackman set him up in an apartment with a roommate, Robert Duvall. Three great actors. All Academy Award winners.
