We could use some of that up here.  It's been unseasonably warm and dry for May here the past week.  Like 90+ degrees.  There's currently two wild fires burning that are not contained.

But relief appears to be coming on Thursday and Friday.  Followed by more seasonable temps.  Some portions of northwest MN might go from close to 100 degrees to below freezing in a 2 day span.

Our fishing sure is good after y'all get a lot of rain. Unfortunately, we can only fish in between storms ourselves. It's been relentless this year.

They should make a pipe from here to MN to CA, we could always use less

We are blessed with an abundance of freshwater here but no landscape that is trying to grow seasonal crops can survive without natural rain fall.  Even drought-resistant breeds need some water.  And honestly a week of mild, dry weather is ok right now because all of these crops are being planted in the ground.

The pipe going over the Rocky Mountains would require a pump of epic proportions powered by an energy source that isn't available.  It's nothing but a "pipe dream."

Abundant, consistent rain is always better than a drought.

I see your pun there…….

drought may be bad for yall but it would be a godsend here, we still have dead bodies turning up from October that washed away. Don’t really matter if your crops are making money when you’re drowned

@gim couldn’t we bore THROUGH the Rockies 😂😂

Went to a baseball game yesterday and had a lightning delay, crazy downpour . The lightning and thunder hit simultaneously as we were leaving, luckily they allowed re entry after they evacuated the stadium , we sought shelter in a parking garage

Had a wild storm Friday night/early Saturday morning that laid trees down everywhere. We were luckier than a community just north in London, KY that had a big tornado killing 14-17 people from what I’ve heard

Another severe weather outbreak could hit the middle portion of the country this week.

We are expecting a 2-day rain here.  I'll take it!

Well, the interstate that washed away last fall is closed again. They had one lane open in each direction, I actually rode thru there Friday. . Looks like it will be shut down completely for a few weeks at a minimum. The area received somewhere between 2.5-3.5 inches of rain in 3 hours yesterday

ironically it stormed like wild when we went thru there Friday and there were rainbows everywhere when it stopped
