Dancin' Eel & Dancin' Tadpole.

Featured Replies

Does anyone remember the old Dancin' Eel and Dancin' Tadpole lures? Lately my go to lures aren't producing so I reverted back to some past go to lures and happen to dig out an old red Dancin' Tadpole and went back to catching bass. The one I'm using is years old and shows it. Does anyone know if these lures are even still made?

Had one since I was a kid, from back when was called "Dance's Eel":

Never caught a thing on it, although I admit it does look good swimming in the water.

Had one and never caught squat on the eel.

My wife swears by the Dancin’ Eel. She loves that thing.

There was more pre release hype on that lure than any lure in my life time.  It was a bust.

I had forgotten that Yum made those things.  I've never caught anything on the Eel but the smaller tadpole I've caught bunches, even now.
