29 May 2025 ~ A Day on Lake Minichuck (video)

Always a special day on the water when I get to share it with my wife Lynn, regardless of the fishing.

After a bit of a portage and some serious paddling, we did manage to bump into a few of the local bass & pike population.

Which made the day all the better.

Stick baits, Texas rigged plastics, spinnerbaits and vibrating jigs

all took fish for us.

Looking forward to the next one.

You both look so happy in that snap-shot, and the time you spent shows that being out there together trumps boating fish....though catching finny-critters is a bonus.

Thank Sir ~

When the only time we're together is for a medical appointment,

anything else is a total party.

You know what it's like.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. Your big fish videos are always great, but the ones where you get to fish with your wife are your best. Congrats on the day! I hope you get more like that.

Looks like a wonderful day on the water! Thanks for sharing your happiness!! That was some fancy footwork (rod work) in landing that big pike!!

Awesome to see you two lovebirds enjoy a day on the water. Congrats, and good to see Lynn feeling well enough to get out. Nice job getting that pike unwrapped from the anchor line.

Wonderful! Lynn's, "BAM !", kinda made me emotional.
