Yeah, that's unfortunate.  FishingShop.kiwi is usually spot-on about availability - they don't keep stock, but order from the distributors, pack and ship.

Let you know how the Falcon rod performs, won’t be as crisp and have the power curve as a JDM rod.
Appricate everyone’s efforts😀

Kastking Kestrel rods are pretty decent for the price. I personally have 2 of them. They come in both a 1 piece and 2 piece. Check out their website. Use code GEKBA10 for additinal  10% off even on sale items.

@WRB-2.0 casts by fly gives a great summary of the cara bfs rod. It's in the falcon rod thread towards the end of the thread

Read it before ordering, thank you!

7’2” Cara BSF should work for my presentations in lieu of using spinning tackle that is difficult as a back seater now to manage line twist, no issue catching bass.

IMO if you want a BFS rod you'll be buying from a Japanese brand.  Why buy burgerking brand sushi?  Are you sure they even know how to make sushi?    There's more to the art than just raw fish.   I'm not convinced any non Japanese brand can make a proper BFS rod.  MAYBE phenix since they were an early US brand that jumped on the bandwagon when it was well understood but now its so convoluted with trout and seabass rods considered BFS that its wiser IMO to return to form and buy the unpolluted Japanese bass rods.  If you're after bass then what are you doing with a 5 '3" trout rod?  Or why use a USDM BFS rod that is someone's best attempt at a rod described to them over the telephone?

I was reading on Aaron Hunt’s website and he made an interesting point regarding the Phenix rods…if they truly are BFS rods, why do they sell a casting series and a spinning series both labeled BFS? By definition isn’t BFS casting specific anyway?
