New (to me) Boat

Featured Replies

Had to get rid of my Stratos. The transom was rotting and I couldn't spend $7K to get it fixed. So I sold it and bought a 1990 Lowe Commander 170 aluminum bass boat. Looking forward to being able to fish some skinnier water for a change.

Nice

That is a great looking rig! I had a Force 90 on my first bass boat. Mine was a great outboard. Ran like a top, never gave me any issues at all.

The 90’s era Force was made by Mercury.

Now you can sell your truck and get an economical SUV.

Already done. LOL! Actually, we are a 1 vehicle family. My wife wanted a Subaru Ascent. I pulled my Stratos with it occasionally. It did fine. It has a 5000 lbs towing capacity.
