It seems like the going rate for a quality underspin is $6-7 and IMHO that's too much.  How are the BPS underspins?  Any other reasonable priced brands that are proven to work?  I've tried buying cheap knockoffs but most of the time they don't spin or they're too close to the body or something else.

You have to buy them on sale.  They can work really well for big fluke and I was shocked at the prices Blakemore wants for 1 head, like 7 or $8.  There are heads with much better components for the same price.

last time. Mexico.  I ripped the skirts off of Uoze swim jigs and used those.  I did feel like a privileged baller!

I totally agree.

 

Seems steep even though I keep buying them. It's a freaking jig with a small blade on it.

 

I get the Dirty Jigs now.

Like everything you get* what you pay for. Quality underspin uses a spring keeper, ball bearing swivel, split ring and premium hook.
