I find quite a few RKs because they’re popular around here. I probably have 15 of them but I don’t think I paid for 3 of them.

Dang I wish I had your luck, where do you find them?

Mostly floated up against the bank after someone loses them and they work free from the snag of the fish. I don’t remember ever pulling one out of a tree.

noise.  right or wrong.  I fish silent versions more often in the cold months

I bought some DT's, flatsided, and Shad Raps recently to try out this fall/winter.

Won't be throwing the XD's.

Hopefully I can get out on the water soon and test them out.

Up north I don’t have much of a winter or dead of winter bass fishing season. But from beginning to end of my season (river and lake) I use the DT’s and Shad Raps. I’m one that uses a jerkbait or countdown the same as a crankbait also.
Confidence is most important. Believing is important. Getting bit will come.

During the cold months I switch to a Rapala Shad Rap instead of a DT. Tighter wiggle and less pronounced action seems to work better for me. I also throw lipless crankbaits with a REAL SLOW yo yo pattern off the bottom, and flat sided cranks such as the Rapala OG slim if I find them shallow at all.
