We’ve been above normal until the last couple of days.  I have near new tires on my trailer and they were checked and rotated in September.  My wife’s car sent her a message telling her to put air in its tires.  While I was at it I checked the boat trailer.  The tires on the starboard side were 5# low and the port side were 8# low.  Now they are all at specs.  

Don’t forget the spare either!

You are right.  I overlooked it.  I will check it tomorrow.

For every 10° temperature drop the tire pressure will drop 1-2 psi. Always use a quality gauge and check tire wear to see if pressure adjustments are required. There are lots of ways to dial in the correct pressure, just pick your poison.

Thanks for reminding me @Jig Man …. Need to order new tires for my trailer. I rarely use the stupid  trailer, so my tires age-out before they wear out. The spare has never met the asphalt but, need to replace it too. I keep them covered as well, they still check-out.

Thankfully, I have the habit of checking my tires and lights and I make sure my kayak and rod box are secure before every trip.
