I have never been there, but Dworshak reservoir in Idaho is on my dream bucket list. Nearby Snake river is also excellent.

Let’s go.

Good idea. I love Door County. There's also great salmon, whitefish, and musky fishing.

I love Big Bay de Noc too...and its little brother.

Agree on salmon but I wouldn't recommend it for smallies. It is really hit annd miss in July and August

Based on multiple responses and replies here and on other forums, I am really looking hard into a trip on the St. Lawrence River the last week of July or the first week of August.

July is a great time to go to Door County. It's not as good as May but the fish are very active and still shallow in July. My club has been taking trips to Door Co during the 3rd week of July for the last 15 years. If I don't have a 15 lb bag, I'm disappointed. Our winners are usually 20+ lbs. We had a 26 lb bag two years ago.

When I retire, or win the lotto, whichever comes first.

I'm heading back to Green Bay again this year, in the beginning of July.

Book the tickets to go to Alaska for King Salmon and halibut. I'll stay 7 days and hope to get a big ol' halibut. thats last week of August.
