p.s. I also go the bulk spool route, 600 or 1000 yards. It's much cheaper in the long run.

I’ve been using Yozuri Topknot 16lb for a few weeks now and I’m liking it - takes a beating and very economical.

InvizX gets the nod for the lighter (10 and 12 lb) tests.

If you happen to be a veteran like me, with Bass Pro's 10% discount, a 200yrd. spool of 12lb. test Tatsu is only 48.59 with free pickup at your nearest outlet.

That's the everyday price, if they were ever to have a sale on it............

I'll pile on, Tatsu for me also.

I suggest going the topshot route to help make it go further. Fill your spool most of the way with old braid, then do the last 50-75 yards with Tatsu if it's a bottom contact reel (only thing I use it for). That what you can get 3-4 fills off a 200 yd spool, which makes the per reel price much more managable.

For the most part I'm an Inviz X guy. From the posts I need to try Tatsu.
