I know I am going to get 100 different answers, but figured it would make for some good discussion too. What is everybodys favorite flouro or co-poly? One of the reasons im asking is because I was using p-line 100% flouro in 20 pound test for jigs, and loved it till sunday. It wouldnt hold a knot, and seemed like it "dried out" or "rotted", something that made it weak. Took a trip and bass pro was out of 20 pound gamma, both 100% flouro and the co-poly, so i picked up some trilene sensation in 17 pound test (only b/c it was cheap)

I have heard great things about the gamma, but the price tag is pretty steep. Thinking about trying the gamma co-poly...

I've always used Berkley floro on all my rods.  I'm semi happy with it.

From 8lb on dropshot to 12lb on jerkbait and crank rod to 20lb on my flippin stick.  Very few heartbreaks--most from Pickeral.

my biggest concern is line twist and memory.

I've always been afraid to swich plus Berkley is not as tough on the pocket as some other brands

I couldn't get this in the first time, but some additional info, if it helps...

Some thoughts on FC.  

Do not use on topwaters, it sinks (duh).

Switching from mono to FC will get a Pointer/X-rap/[insert your slashbait here] down another foot.  The effect is more dramatic with diving cranks.

Be very careful tying knots, any kinks or bends, retie.

40# FC leader works very well in northern pike waters, and doesn't affect the bait like Sevenstrand.

Use KVD Line & Lure to eliminate memory problems.

Spinning reels always introduce twist, so manually flip your bail, don't reel in while a fish is taking drag, and use a reel with Twist-Buster or some other roller tech.

For FC, I actually like a tiny bit of memory, since I use one of the stiffer brands.  Soak the reel filler in warm water and spool from that.  Every 20 cranks or so, give it a squirt of KVD L&L.

Heavier FC sometimes peels when nicked.  It will hold, but retie as soon as you notice any nicks.  I usually see after catching a toothy critter.

Copoly - Pline CXX or Izorline XXX

I know I am in the minority here but I actually like Vanish.  Used it for a year with no break offs and no problems with casting or holding knots.  It is strong and I still use it when I cannot immediately get my hands on P-Line.  I like the line diameter of P-Line better.  It handles a little better overall.

The best fluoro I've tried is BPS XPS

Seaguar InvizX is the only fluoro I use, I would like to try Toray's line of FC but I'm not sure if I can bring myself to spend that much on line.

basspro48, try the XPS. On another fishing web site during a fluorocarbon discussion someone said Toray was the mfg of the XPS fluorocarbon line.

The only ones I use now are silver thread,and bps. The bps floro in 12 lb test is awesome and affordable. I have floro on all my rigs except topwater stay with stren mono for that. If you use baitcaster's make sure you clear the tip after every lure change because it will wrap the tip then you hear that god awfull snapping sound.

I use Seaguar InvizX. Its expensive, but it is the best fluoro I have used. Just simply incredible..

Yo-Zuri Hybrid hands down.
