Doesn't it list for $249 or $279 and doesn't Shimano basically say no discounted sales?

curado 300's msrp is around $249.00.

That is the normal retail price.

I can't stand Gander and wouldn't step a foot inside the store if they were giving them away with free hot dogs.

My Dick's has them for $120, and if I had $240 extra bucks I'd come home two Curados richer.

I just found a website that has Curado 200 e7 for $149, Cardiff 100a for $88. I don't use Shimano or know about the normal pricing, but those seem like ok prices to me.

my mistake I should check the facts before I post; the old memory isn't what it used to be lol.

  Wayne this time last year I think I picked up a 200D for around $130 at Dick's. That would have been for the model closeout(?) so maybe a different story. I'd have to check my receipt to know for sure.

  I checked the BPS website and it has most Curado E's @ $179 and the 300's for $249

I think that is going to be the next reel I buy.  Went to Cabela's on Saturday and even the 2 display models were sold!
