Sufix line

seige is my favorite mono.

smooth , low memory and stretch. cant ask for too much from mono...

I love the elite mono. casts smooth and little memory. just put some siege on one rod but haven't tried it yet.

Seige is by far the best mono out there, with elite coming in second IMHO. I use 17# test Sufix Seige in Camo color and it works great!

Comparing The Sufix XL Strong, and supreme, that are copolymer lines, in  the strenght resistance both are in the Yo Zuri Hybrid class.

Pros: good abrasion resistance, low stretch, and thinner diameter for the tension resistance. cast well in baitcaster or spinning, and last pretty well.

Cons. Are little coily after a couple of weeks of not casting, but at 10 or 12 casts, the line is OK. and must be carful with the knots.

wrong section for sufix line

I use the "red pack" suffix. 8lb.

I have used for amny years. Had one bad spool once...but it could have been an old one I had sitting around and tried to use it up.

Low stretch and good knot strength and good durablility.

Coils a bit until it gets a wet maybe a a dozen cast or so.

I have used both siege and elite and like them both.  They are a little stretchy but have good manageability.  The deep crank line isn't very abrasion resistant though.

I use Sufix on almost all of my setups.  With the exception of my Yo-zuri casting setup.

I use the Sufix Seige, 8lb on a spinning setup, Sufix performance braid in 50 lb on casting (punching, frogs) and 20lb on my drop shot setup and worm setup.

I have no problems with any of it.

I use 8# and 10# Elite Lo-Vis Green. I also use 6# clear on another rod. All spinning reels. I really like the line. I think they cast great and a smooth line. All I really use. Now I'm trying the 8# Suffix flouro trying to give it a shot.

I never tried the braid before.

I did have that problem with the 10# at first too. No problem with my 8# and 6# though.  My Suffix flouro matter of fact does it too. Hopefully that works out like the rest.

I do blast the 8lb mono with line butter when I am spooling it up.

Another Sufix Seige fan here! I have it on most of my rods! Also use their braid and love it too! Haven't tried the fluro yet and I'm about to try out the deep crankin mono this evening (will have to keep an eye on it on the abrasion part).

After Basser89's recommendation (I know I know taking recommendations from a Quantum guy may not be the best choice  ;D ) a few months ago I tried 17lb Seige. I like it, it has performed well. Do have the coiling issue sometimes, but treating with KVD line treatment has helped.

Its awesome stuff. Kinda stretchy, but worth it just for the low memory. It is really abrasion resistant. But it just has an unbelievable lack of memory. Using line butter, it comes of a baitcaster and just lays there, no coils.

don't try sufix fluorocarbon its absolutely the worst fluorocarbon line there is imo... other than that ive used siege some i only really use mono on my topwater and spinner bait setups it was ok but after breaking off a few times i went back to big game

i use 12lb siege on all mono applications. have had no issues and have never broke off once with it. A+
