I like the looks of them, they have some nice components.

Time will tell though.

I saw them too - the Lew's reels are at TW as well.

On the rods - at least they have a good hook-keeper design (listen up Loomis, et al)...as to sensitivity, etc., I guess we'll only find out if someone "takes the plunge" ! ::)

Those reel seats are a deal breaker.

They appear to have very similar specs to some of BPS higher-end offerings, but at a higher price.

I'll pass, thanks.

My Lew's reel arrived today, but with the handle on the WRONG FRICKING SIDE! >:)    That's what happens when you make your order while you're half asleep.

Oh well, you guys will have to wait a week or so for the review. :'(

I liked the look of the tournament pro series, but thats about it.

Those reel seats are a deal breaker.

What's wrong with the ACS seat?

Those reel seats are a deal breaker.

What's wrong with the ACS seat?

They're uncomfortable for me, and the tip of the trigger gets mangled.  I'm trying to think what rod I had used that seat, but drawing a blank.  Is there a Fenwick with it?  Anyway, didn't work for me.  Apparently others as well.

Alot of rods are using that seat now.............and I hate it as well. St Croix Legend Elites, and Extremes use it, Fenwick HMG's, Quantum KVD cranking rods, are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I have a CARA Micro with the ACS and I like it. I guess it's just the difference in hand shapes.
